Since university and through travel, she has developed a curiosity and appreciation for the craftsmanship of those precious things that fill our home and bring us joy, made from real materials - aged wood, hearty linens, wools, cottons, and other fibers, substantial metals - and the handcrafted. Each piece telling its storied past through its patina and scarred surfaces. A fingerprint or brush stroke embedded in the paint or ceramic finish evokes its maker.
